How I work
Alongside your clinic or midwife
You already have people looking after you: a reproductive clinic, an OB-GYN, a midwife, maybe a doula. I am one more person in the room, and I keep my place. Everything I do is planned around what they have told you.
Here is how it works, and what I will never do.

In four steps
How it works
You decide what is shared at every step.
- 01
Step 1: You tell me who is in your care
The name of your clinic, OB-GYN or midwife, and where you are in your plan.
- 02
Step 2: You decide what is shared
I write to your team only with your signed permission, and only about what I did in my room. You can take your permission back at any time.
- 03
Step 3: I plan around your calendar
We choose visit days around your appointments and procedures. If your plan changes, mine does.
- 04
Step 4: I send a short note, if you ask
A few lines on what I did and what you told me, for your team to use or ignore.

Questions
About working with your team
What should I tell my clinic or midwife?
That you are coming to see me, and about everything I do in a visit. If you would like me to write to them, you sign a permission first.
What if my clinic says no to acupuncture?
Then we don't go ahead, or we wait. Your clinic knows your care, and I follow its advice.
Can I come without telling anyone?
You can. It is your choice, and I will still ask about everything you take. I would encourage you to tell your clinic or midwife.
Ready to plan a first visit?
Tell me who is in your care and when you are free.
